Well thats the most exciting email message i have ever come across
Staying far away, across the proverbial seven seas, the very thought of home made indian sweets transports me back to my halcyon days
today it was turn of a colleague who returned from his native town in adhra pradesh- brought two typical gulti sweets with him- pootharekulu- the godavari dist delicacy and kobbari louju- a sweet made from grated coconut
i dashed to his desk after recieving the email- grabbed the sweet box and scooped a handful before others could lay a hand on
i was in an entirely different world - till the sweets stayed in my mouth
after having my fill - went to the coffe machine- got some black coffee (decocotion in south india)- added some "non dairy whitener" - and was back at my desk
dream over - reality infront of me -
chalo kaam pe lag jaate hai
